Stop phone sending unauthorised SMSs

How do I stop my iPhone 4S sending unauthorised chargeable SMS messages?

Despite both iMessage and Facetime being disabled, in the last 3 months my phone has tried sending 102 SMSs to +44786001500x and 9011 without my permission.

How do I stop this from happening?

iPhone 4S, iOS 9.2

It looks like it is impossible to NOT previously attempt to active iMessage and Facetime.

Even on a factory reset with no Apple ID entered and everything else (such as location services) disabled, iMessage and Facetime are automatically enabled in settings and activation SMSs are sent automatically before the phone is even set up.

Before tapping "Get Started" my phone had tried sending an SMS to +447860015000.

I don't want to switch to a supported carrier because none exist.

What you are really suggesting is that I stop using my iPhone and go and buy an Android.

No other carrier offers a SIM card that makes a GSM phone a SIP endpoint.

iMessage and Facetime are disabled. Why, even after performing a factory reset, is my phone still sending activation messages without my permission?

None exist? Excuse me? Here: Wireless carrier support and features for iPhone in the United States and Canada - Apple Support

Choose your country and pick one.

No other carrier offers a SIM card that makes a GSM phone a SIP endpoint.

Which does not equate to a non-existence of supported carriers. If that's something you need, then you'll need to work it out with them or switch to a phone that they actually support.

You seem to be ignorant of the technology I am using.

My iPhone's phone number is 6010.

It is impossible for iMessage or Facetime activation to ever succeed with that phone number, even if another carrier did offer a similar service to SIP2SIM, because of how Apple have designed activation.

If you were an Apple representative telling me to switch carrier, knowing full well what I use my iPhone for, that would be a clear case of misselling.

If you don't know why an iPhone would try to activate iMessage and Facetime when both are disabled, don't suggest I switch to a carrier that supports iPhones. Instead, tell me whether this is (a) a bug in iOS (and where to find more information), or (b) where the setting is to stop the sending of these SMSs.

I don't know about your last experience so I can't comment on that. If you do not want assistance from Apple you will have to rely on your MVNO. I don't know of any reason that your phone would automatically try to turn on iMessage and FaceTime and connect. You could try skipping entering your iCloud information, checking to be sure iMessage and FaceTime are off, and then adding iCloud. I would also check the carrier settings that you entered manually there may be something there that is incorrect. You would need to work with your MVNO on that.

Since you are attempting to use your iPhone on a non-supported carrier there will be limits as to what Apple can do for you.
